Signs it is time

  • Mesh is gray, chalky or tears when pressed
  • Many panels have been patched over the years
  • Roof panels are sagging or have holes
  • Spline is cracking across the cage

Screen mesh in Florida sun typically lasts many years, but once it is brittle, patching becomes a constant job.

What a full rescreen includes

  1. Walkthrough and measurement of every wall and roof panel.
  2. Removal of old mesh and spline.
  3. New mesh and spline on all panels, roof and walls.
  4. Check of door closers, handles and kick plates; we point out anything that needs attention.
  5. Cleanup of mesh scraps and debris from your deck.

Planning the job

Large cages take more than one day. We plan the work around your schedule (Monday–Saturday, 9 AM–7 PM) and keep the pool area usable as much as possible.

What affects the price

Total square footage, roof height, number of panels, mesh type, and whether you add upgrades such as heavier lower panels. Read our guide to rescreen cost.

Questions

How long does a full rescreen take?

Most residential cages take one to three working days depending on size and weather.

Can I choose a different mesh?

Yes. You can use one mesh for the roof and a heavier one for lower walls.
